| Concord, MA. A small, brick gambrel from the 1940s was more than doubled in size by the addition of a family room, master suite and breakfast area. While requiring the approval of the Historic District Commission, the owners desired "chateau-like" elements to enliven the gambrel shape. These elements were interpreted in the four tower elements (each only 15 feet in height)creating many special places including a stair tower, reading nook, side entry, and a place for the master bathroom. > Next home in this section | |
